What is OnFave?
View our Welcome overview. OnFave provides an online community for people to host and stream their videos to win contests within the Terms of Use. Visitors can view and share videos. Members can add videos, vote in contests, and use other features to win cash prizes.
How do I compete in contests?
1. Enter to win by clicking "To" (if logged out) or "Go" (if logged in) on each contest page.
2. Click "Add" (top right of the page) to load videos to submit in contests.
3. Use the "Submit" menu option in your OnFave account to place added videos into contests you enter.
What are the Community Standards?
1. OnFave is not for profanity, obscenity, vulgarity, indecency, pornography, or sexually explicit content. If this describes your content, even if it's a cartoon or video of yourself, don't post it on OnFave. We work with law enforcement and report child exploitation.
2. Don't post content showing bad, cruel, dangerous, or illegal acts like animal and drug abuse, underage drinking and smoking, destructive hacking, or bomb-making.
3. Graphic, explicit, or gratuitous violence is not allowed. Don't post content showing dead bodies, tragic accidents, or otherwise objectionable material, intended to shock or disgust. If your content shows someone being physically hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don't post it.
4. Post positively for popularity. OnFave and sponsors support content that exhibits fresh ideas, great talent, winning energy, fair competition, high confidence, new concepts, smart design, good production, free thinking, exciting creativity, compelling stories, open debate, cultural diversity, inspired intensity, common humanity, bold originality, and respect for different opinions.
5. Respect copyright and fair use. Only add content that you made or that you are authorized to use. This means don't add videos you didn't make, or use content in your videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without necessary authorizations.
6. We encourage free speech and defend the right to express unpopular points of view. We don't support hate speech, which attacks or demeans a group based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, language, political affiliation, disability, medical condition, economic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or veteran status.
7. Misbehavior such as bullying, stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, defamation, invading privacy, revealing personal or confidential information, and inciting others to commit violent acts or violate the Terms of Use are taken very seriously. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from OnFave.
8. Spamming, trolling, flaming, masking, and cracking are not allowed. Don't create misleading descriptions, tags, titles, or thumbnails to increase views. It's not okay to post untargeted, unwanted, off-topic, or repetitive content, including private messages, comments, and e-mails. Don't use disruptive fonts, formats, commands, programs, or code.
How do I find videos of interest to watch?
1. By clicking the "Videos" link (top left of the page) features and filters become available, allowing you to find videos of interest. On the Videos page, you can view Most Recent, Most Viewed, Most Discussed, Top Favorites, Top Rated, Recently Featured, or Random videos, by clicking the appropriate link.
2. If you know what you're looking for, search for videos using the "Search" box or "Advanced Search" link (top right of the page).
3. You can use the "Categories" link (top left of the page) to browse and find videos in specific areas of interest (for example, "Music & Dance" or "Comedy & Jokes").
4. By following a particular member, you'll be notified whenever they add new videos.
5. You can use the "Search" box with the "Users" option to search for videos submitted by a particular member.
What are "tags"?
Keywords assigned to videos are called "tags". The purpose of tags is to help describe or identify a video. Tags help you label videos you share so other people can find them more easily.
The site keeps asking for password and login even though I put in my username and password correctly.
This could be due to the way cookies are set to be handled on your system, so here are the steps to check cookies for your browser.
1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
2. Choose "Internet Options".
3. Select the "Privacy" tab.
4. Choose "Advanced".
5. First and Third Party Cookies should be set to "Accept".
The steps described above are for Internet Explorer®, but should be similar for other browsers. We strongly recommend using modern, standards-compliant, open-based browsers such as Mozilla Firefox® or Google Chrome™, and not closed, obsolete browsers that may contain features deprecated in terms of web standards and usability.
If cookies are not set to be accepted by your browser, please change this setting and try logging in again.

1. Use the "Password" menu option in your OnFave account or /change-password.
2. Select the "Change Password?" box, then enter your old and new passwords in the text boxes.

How do I delete a video that was added?
Use the "My Videos" menu option in your OnFave account or /my-videos, and click the "Remove Video" button next to each video you would like to delete. You can only remove videos you added.
How do videos get featured?
Featured videos can display by default based on the number of hits and ratings a particular video receives, or are directly assigned by the OnFave team in some cases. Users cannot assign a featured video, as this would result in every user featuring his/her own videos.
